Counsels for Life: From the Life and Teachings of Father Epiphanios

Elder Epiphanios was not a normal clergyman….all of us who had the blessing to interact with him and draw near as disciples, wished to write down the things which we saw in his life and which we heard fro his divinely wise lips because Father Epiphanios was truly “an initiate of divine teachings”. All these remembrances comprise for is counsels for life. They entail a precious inheritance, which ought to continue to inspire us and nourish us spiritually. This, furthermore, is what the Spirit of God also advises through the mouth of the Apostle Paul. “Remember your leaders, who spoke unto you the word of God, consider the outcome of their life and imitate their faith.” (Hebrews 13:7)

In most of these remembrances we attempted to produce the tone of the Elder as faithfully as possible.
