Sacred Steps: 2025 Orthodox Children’s Calendar

More than just a calendar, the 2025 Orthodox Children’s Calendar: “Sacred Steps: A pilgrim’s path through the United States” explores the beauty of Orthodoxy in the United States, and provides an encouraging guide to families wishing to experience holy places. From myrhh-streaming icons to quiet monasteries to ornate cathedrals, spanning Florida to Alaska to Hawaii, each month is filled with practical tips on scheduling a pilgrimage, information on what to expect while you’re there, and original watercolor paintings. We hope and pray that it will be a blessing to every family that uses it! Our intention for the Orthodox Children’s Calendar is to create an engaging and useful resource that kids will want to have on their walls and follow throughout the year. The fun activities and delicious recipes included with every month can be referenced and enjoyed for years to come! (I keep my old calendars on my cookbook shelf in my kitchen so I can easily reference the recipes!)

Every calendar includes:

• An extra 2 pages for each month with a recipe and activity to inspire further learning about the icon and/or liturgical season. (52 page calendar!)
• Church feasts and highlighted fasting seasons.
• Select saints days are featured with a small drawing of that saint, to help little ones put a “face to the name.”
• Original art throughout, including watercolor paintings of 11 churches, monasteries, and icons.
• Sticker sheet for name days, baptisms, weddings, birthdays, confession, unction, eucharist, and so much more! Kids love these!
• Available with “new calendar”/Gregorian dates or “old calendar”/Julian dates. Not sure which one you need? If you celebrate Christmas/the Nativity on December 25, then choose “new calendar.”
