Saint Mark of Ephesos

St Mark of Ephesos, a noble, brilliant, humble and loving man, uncompromising in his Faith, stands as a beacon to all of us, as we struggle today, not only with the excesses of ecumenism, which has in many ways compromised and distorted our Orthodox confession, but also with our duty to share the treasury of our Faith with others and to seek unity where there is division and reconciliation where there is enmity.
